Education
Biography In 2022, when Dr. Walls had the opportunity to take over care for patients at Optom-Eyes from its previous owner, she jumped at the chance knowing she was ready to expand her care into Colorado Springs. Amanda Walls, O.D. became owner of her first office Falcon Family Eye Care in 2013. During the first few years of her career, she was a pediatric optometrist in Colorado Springs. She attended optometry school in Memphis, TN at Southern College of Optometry. As President of the student body, Amanda had the opportunity to become involved in every aspect of optometry. It is a great joy for Dr. Walls to serve the people of Colorado Springs as their primary eye care doctor. She enjoys being a member of the Lions Club, supporting the little league and participating in community events. Amanda plans to be in Colorado Springs for a long time, and claims the best part of the job is “seeing the families year after year.” Dr. Walls has two daughters and a husband who works as a private practice therapist in town.
